STUDI KASUS KETERAMPILAN DASAR AKADEMIK ANAK USIA 4 TAHUN DI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat keterampilan dasar akademik yang dimiliki oleh anak yang mengikuti kegiatan di Taman Kanak-kanak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Studi Kasus yaitu metode riset yang menggunakan sumber data yang sebanyak mungkin bisa digunakan untuk menjelaskan secara komprehensif berbagai aspek mengenai individu secara sistematis. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak berusia 4 tahun yang mengikuti kegiatan di Taman Kanak-kanak. Informan peneliti adalah ibu dan guru subjek, serta tugas-tugas yang telah dilakukan subjek. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami hambatan dalam keterampilan dasar akademik. Keterampilan dasar akademik yang dimiliki anak, diharapkan dapat diasah secara optimal saat anak mengikuti kegiatan di Taman Kanak-kanak untuk menghadapi jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya.
